A word from the Founder
Mwengei Foundation is my way of honoring my late mother, whose resilience in the face of hardship shaped my own path of compassion. Growing up, we had very little, and I started working at a young age to help meet our basic needs. When my mother was diagnosed with a severe heart condition, we lacked the resources for the specialized care she needed. Despite her enduring strength, we lost her—a loss I’ve carried deeply, knowing that with a little help, things might have been different.
This experience instilled in me a lifelong empathy for families in need, especially those facing crises without support. For years, I’ve quietly raised funds to help others, but with Mwengei Foundation, I can now fully dedicate myself to giving back. My hope is that, through this foundation, no family will endure a loss simply because they couldn’t access the help they needed. This is for my mother. May her soul rest in eternal peace
